I need suggestions
Okay this has nothing at all to do with weight loss, etc. I need to get a new vaccum and have no idea what to get. The one I have now just doesn’t cut it. I need something that is relatively inexpensive (under $200) and picks up cat hair and small wood chips. With 4 cats and a wood burning stove we have lots of hair and small wood chips. I have a Eureka “The Boss” (yellow, lite weight) and it just doesn’t pick up the hair and wood like I want. If anyone has cats/dogs and wood etc that they have to vaccum up what do you use and do you like? My hand held Dirt Devil does great on the furniture but I need something for the rugs in the living room and dining room. Thanks bunches. I know I can count on my Buddy Slims to give me great suggestions.

My sweeper is a piece of crap too and I am also in the market for a new one.

I have a dirt devil bagless (the red one). We have an ALaskan Malamute/Great Pyranese mix (120 lbs.) that has REALLY shaggy fur and is ALWAYS shedding. It works wonders. I don’t remember how much it costs, but I don’t think it was too much. It works WONDERS, especially on carpet. (I use it on everything, even the hardwood!) Plus, it doesn’t have a bag, just a canister. It’s just a pain in the butt to push because it isn’t self-propelling, so I get a good upper body work out when I use it! Hope this helps…
