Spinning didn’t go so well yesterday & new weekly challenge for myself
My fiance bowls on Wednesday and Fridays nights so I have only about a half hour at the gym because we have to go get dinner before bowling. Yesterday I decided to do another half hour of spinning and it didn’t go quite as well as last week. Legs just didn’t want to move, heart couldn’t get up. What I was feeling last week at a heart of 155 I was feeling like yesterday with a heart rate of 146. But I know every week will be different (I plan on doing this every Wednesday now).
Today, though I had to go do banking for work so I on the way back I took the stairs back up. Office is on the fifth floor and I counted the stairs once and there’s approximate 100 or so. My new cellphone has a stopwatch so I started it and began my climbing. I did it in 1 minute 27 seconds and whatever the 24 is (1:27:24). I give myself a new weekly challenge on Thursdays to walk up stairs and try to better my time, even if its by a second that will be an accomplishment for me. I’m also going to wear my heart rate watch because I know my heart rate was up in the 150. Maybe, just maybe, I should make it my challenge to time myself to go up to the 7th floor which is how many floors are in the building (will have to do a stair count first). Will have to think about that one. I was huffing and puffing by 5 so maybe I shouldn’t push it just. I’ve decided to do a half our HIIT cardio at the gym and then do my weights at home instead of 1 hour of cardio and not doing weights. I really don’t like using the machines and don’t like going to where the “big boys are” to use the freeweights. I also hate the big mirrors but I know they’re there so you can watch your form. I have to have honey put one up at the house so I can watch my form. Everyone take care and have a great week.

Great job on the exercise. It’s great that you made a challenge for yourself. how about setting a goal for the 5 flights and once you reach that goal. Work on the 7 flights. Keep up the good work!!
